Places to Visit

There are many different places to go skiing. You can visit almost any part of the United States and find a ski resort. In the northeast there are so many choices. Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine all have several ski resorts. My favorite is Sunday River in Bethel, Maine. This resort is huge and probably the best in the Northeast. There are even ski resorts in the Southeast including many in North Carolina. The best skiing in the US is out West. Skiing out west in not comparable to any resort on the east coast. The mountains are huge and seem to go on forever. If you are willing to spend the money I would reccomend traveling to Canada and visiting British Columbia. About an hour and a half north of Vancouver you will find a jewel of a resort, Whistler. Out of all the resorts I have been to Whistler is the biggest and the best. You could spend an entire week there and would never be able to ski every trail. Where ever you go you will definately have an unforgettable time.
